Author self-archiving
Authors who have paid the Open Access (OA) fee can use the final published PDF version of their paper in for self-archiving purposes on their institution’s online repository. The institution should provide a web link to the published version of the article on this journal’s website, attributing the journal as the original place of publication. The citation should be clearly stated.
If the author(s) has decided not to take out an OA license then only the final draft author manuscript can be archived ie the article prior to the proofing and copyediting stage. The uploaded version must contain a notice as follows: ‘This is a pre-publication version of the following article: [Full citation inserted]’
